The Triforces are sacred relic, representing the essence of the Golden Goddesses who created the realm of Hyrule. Princess Zelda is associated with the Triforce of Wisdom, Link is associated with the Triforce of Courage and Ganon (the evil bad guy) is associated with the Triforce of Power.
