Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann tells the story about a boy named Simon and his exploits to find his own destiny in a world full of dangers and mysteries. Living underground all his life, he works as a digger, digging to expand his village but Simon does it to find treasures too. One day, he found a small drill which he kept. Little does he know, that small drill will change his life forever. Along with another villager Kamina who is very close with Simon, they aim for the sky! Along the way, they met with Yoko, a gunslinger girl who was chasing a mechanical creature that appears in Simon & Kamina’s underground village. After defeating the mechanical creature with a mechanical head that Simon found earlier, they set off on a journey to find their destiny and reach for the sky!
